     2005:
     
      Jul'05 Established non-restrictive access global information online tax returns page (Level A+).
      Nov'05 Raised the levels of the lessons in the "Kaohsiung City Government e-learning school" digital learning platform and provide city employees and citizens an online campus for learning. (07/04/02)
      Dec'05 Established the platform for the government of the City of Kaohsiung to communicate with citizens and renew the services online for each department of the city government. (07/04/03)
      Dec'05 The first phase for the set up of "The City of Kaohsiung e-government common platform project" was Completed.
      Dec'05 sponsored "The City of Kaohsiung e-government exhibition" in coordination with the Executive Yuan

     2004:
     
      Jul' Holds the information application results exhibition "e-Government & Friendly City" in collaboration with the city government's Personnel Department.
      Aug' The city government receives the award "Website Recommended by Administrative Institutions 2004" for its tourist information website.
      Aug' Constructs an information backup mechanism to ensure security and integrity of data.
      Sep' Establishes the digital learning platform the "Harbor City e-Learning School" to offer an online learning venue for city government personnel and all citizens.
      Sep' Establishes the service network "Consumer Protection Special Zone" to offer the people a contact channel for consumer protection interests.
      Dec' Develops the Kaohsiung City Volunteers Bank Website for establishment of a city-wide volunteers database and match search.
     2003:
     
      Mar' Establishes a Wi-Fi platform on the third floor of the City Government Hall.
      Jul' Develops the "Online Real-time Service System" by combining e-mail addresses through the Internet in a bid to offer a two-way communicative channel with the citizens.
      Jul' Develops the "Green Procurement System" service network to change consumption modes in order to reduce the use of natural resources and toxic substances and emissions of wastes in pursuit of better living quality.
      Oct' Establishes the "e-Service Network" with complete FAQ and related online application systems in order to offer the people a perfect search channel.
     2002:
     
      Apr' Updates the city government's trunk switch to enhance the city government's backbone network exchange efficiency.
      Jun' The Center's information and communication security is assessed as "very complete" in the "Information and Communication Security Audit Report 2001" of the Directorate General of Budget Accounting and Statistics under the Executive Yuan.
      Aug' Completes the establishment of Wi-Fi for the atrium of the City Government Hall.
      Oct' The city government is assessed as having "Outstanding Performance" once again by the Executive Yuan for its e-official document exchange.
      Nov' The Center's Official Document Transmission Group Work Circle is selected as a candidate for "The hird Legal System Reform Work Circle: The Executive Procedure Team" and receives a prize of NT$20,000.

    Completes establishment of the city government's executive information portal, knowledge management system, Harbor City e-Learning School, e-form signing and approval procedure.
     2001:
     
      Feb'21 The Tainan City Government dispatches personnel to the center for viewing and learning various types of e-information business led and developed by the center.
      Mar' The UPS in the host room of the Information Center is replaced with a new one, 150KVA, Delta Electronics.
      Mar'7 The city government is awarded "Outstanding Performance" by the Executive Yuan for its electronic exchange, with a medal and prize of NT$100,000.
      May' Updates Proxy server x 2 sets and firewall x 2 sets for the Center's host room.
      May' The city government Internet line is upgraded from T1 to T3.
      Jul' The city government, in cooperation with Everlasting System Integration, INC., offers the citizens 1000 sets of numbers to go online via dial-up connection for free.
