    *
    2004 Policy Plan for the Department Of Information Management, KCG  
    		*
     
    * Tie in with the Research, Development and Evaluation Commission and the National Archives Administration of Executive Yuan, continue to push for establishment and management of e-official document exchanges, archive directories and official document images for all agencies of the city government and schools.
     

     
    * Continue to promote the Kaohsiung City Government (KCG) knowledge base and decision-making information system, digital learning, etc., to enhance internal operating efficiency and external service quality.
     

     
    * Develop an Internet citizen complaint system and create an interactive channel between citizens and the city government to enhance for-the-people service quality.
       
    * Continue to develop Windows-based common information (public opinion, accounting, funds, property…) system and promote it to the city's 250 agencies and schools.
       
    * Construct a centralized data storage and off-site backup mechanism and ensure integrity of the host's data to strengthen the city government's data security.
